Most of my life has been spent abroad. Traveling by whatever mode of transportation I can muster from motorbikes to buses, dugout canoes to camper vans, even a flying inflatable boat, I have crisscrossed every continent except Antarctica. I go until I run out of steam or money. Then I find work and settle down for a spell. Of course, finding work in the middle of Africa or Asia usually requires me to re-invent myself.
