I don't know about you, but I am curious to know the percentage of men & women looking for love on the internet can act with honesty in their attempts to  find their overnight fling, FWB or long-term relationship partner?  There certainly appears to be a glut of self minded, scamming folks out there.  My own personal experience dealing with these money grubbers has not been good. I have been in contact with nearly a dozen ladies, lately.  They seem to be very interested in me, giving me compliments on my photos, asking pertinent questions and assuring me that age is not important since I am 61 years old.  Perhaps I am disillusioned that someone much younger than me might actually be interested in a relationship?  Now, I will give myself some credit...I'm not as scary looking as Jabba the Hutt, I don't have bad habits, I am in good shape, I do have a pretty cool job and I carry no baggage to the table (single, not married with no kids, etc.).  I have a good character and carry myself well.  So, why haven't I actually met someone in person...what's the problem with continuing our chat sessions, developing into something real?   Money.  Each and every woman that I have been in contact with, it always led to money...the cash that I have to fill their needs.  I have experienced nearly every excuse from these so-called "women"...here are some of their reasonings:  "I need you to send me $1,500 to help me start-up my cosmetics business", "My mother has cancer in the hospital and I need to pay for the medical expenses", "I'm two months backed-up on my rent, I will be evicted.  You don't want me going to jail do you?  I need $900", "My birthday is this week...what gift card will you be buying me?", "You need to take care of your woman...my phone bill is due, $1600 please".  The one that is most often used is "Here is the address for the Dating ID company, so we can meet"...a company (if researched, is a fake) that asks for your personal information AND credit card.  "Honey, if you don't get the ID, you won't get to meet me".  I have heard all of the stories.  Does any of this sound familiar to you while meeting with someone online?  It's a total waste of time...fortunately, not money.  They're not getting a single dollar from me...hopefully, they haven't picked your pocket, either.
