Let’s Talk Lingerie!

At the moment, so many things are wandering across my mind that I really don’t know how to start. But, before my confusion gets on your nerves, allow me to welcome you to Let’s Talk Lingerie (LTL).

Lingerie is one of the most important parts of a woman’s life. But, still somewhere we all hesitate talking about it. I know many of you may disagree on this point but personally I believe that Indian women are traditionalist when it comes to lingerie. The habit of hiding lingerie under clothes is just enough to prove what I said. To break the shackles of hesitation and spread a little awareness about this sensitive topic, I started Let’s Talk Lingerie.

Before moving forward, I would like to share another reason that made me start a blog about lingerie. Generally, Indian women have a moderate bust and mine is heavier than the normal size (36D). A heavier bust size not just causes physical pain but it attacks right on your self-esteem when you are unable to find dresses in your size. It feels even worst when guys on the road pay attention to your boobs and forget there is something above it too. And it feels ghastly when your boyfriend says – “I don’t have any problem with your bust size but it would be better if you try to find a way to reduce them”. (Trust me he said so and I didn’t know where to hide my face)

And do you know why all this happened to me? Because, I never knew the correct size for my bra. Because, I was never being told by my mom how and why to buy a bra. In fact, the first person who told me to start wearing a bra was not my mom but a teacher in school. Seriously, it is one of those thwarting incidents that I cannot forget for the rest of my life. At that time, I got so conscious about my dancing boobs that I never used to run in sports periods or dance in the dance class. All in all, it was just so horrible.

Though now I have learnt to live with them but I don’t want any other girl to suffer from a similar problem. It is important to understand that lingerie plays a pivotal role in shaping a woman’s body and you should take it seriously like any other thing.

Through this blog, I would try my best to educate women and girls of all ages about lingerie and related stuff. Till then stay tuned!

Thanks for visiting Let’s Talk Lingerie!

Take Care!
