Never would have guessed it, even at my age, (50 by the way)

Never would have dreamed it would be so hard...

So hard to find something so simple, something I figured Everyone Loved!

Never dreamed it would turn into such a long absence from my life.

So long I wonder if I still know how.

Has the times changed that much since I've been in the field?

Surely not I will not give up, I must continue my quest.

Never knew I would miss it so much, It's become an obsession!

I will not stray, I will not stop, I shall never give up!

I think it's taking me to dark places, everywhere I look It's all I can see.

But yet the object of my desire still evades me.

One thing I am and one thing I'm not. I am determined to see you again

My poem in honor of old school face time! Which has not been a part of my world since before my divorce. Over 5 years since we got to hang out.
