About Me
I live in Birmingham with my dog, Cinnamon, who I adopted from the Humane Society. I work downtown and am working on a master's degree in Counseling from UAB. I'm pretty easy going...one of my favorite things to do is enjoy a cup of coffee while working a crossword. I try to treat others with compassion and non-judgment. I am not a religious person, but I am spiritual. I practice Buddhism b/c it is a philosophy that is congruent with my values, and I have found that meditation and self-awareness help me maintain inner peace.
