It's funny... I understand there are an absolute ton of online platforms out there and I have heard lots of horror stories, however, they generally seemed to be with the 'less reputable' sites.

I have tried a few of the 'more' reputable ones out there now. Maybe I am doing something wrong, perhaps I don't understand how to stand out or maybe I am really unattractive. But when you are a 'free' member, your inbox gets flooded with what seem to be legit 'opportunities' but once you sign up.... My inbox gets flooded with people wanting personal info and trying to scam you.

Further to this, can someone tell me how to identify the 'real' people as I was just informed some profiles are robots or staff of the company trying to keep you on a membership.

For anyone 'real' out there... what should be in my first message so you actually reply? Do I not have the right type of pictures up? is my profile bad?
